Description: Michael K. White tells of his experiences growing up in the Towanda area in the 1950s and 1960s. Mentioned in the story are his parents Keith and Dorothy White, his younger brother Gregory and his uncles (Don and Roger White) and aunts (Carol White Donaldson, Geneva White Coit, and Joyce White Berry). He speaks of his times at Towanda grade school with teachers Mrs. Stewart, Mrs. Hirst, Mrs. Cunningham, Mrs. White, Mr. Gould, Mr. Albee, Mr. Shultz and principal Mr. Cottone. Fellow classmates included Steve Temple, Ron Hirst, Richard and Nancy Mounce (cousins), Mary Lou and Linda Nice (twins), Lee Kinsella, Terry Kinsella, Dale Erwin, Bradley Evans, Karen Pitts, Ann Killian, Barbara Hays, Mike Hedrick, Henry McDaniel, Danny McClellan, Brian Losey, Dennis Wager, Sharon Young, and Ann Brokaw. He also talks of his experiences living on the Stubblefield Farm and the Brokaw Farm when his father worked for/with Chuck Brokaw and neighboring farmer Bill Winters. He believes that Mrs. Brokaw (Eleanor) and Mrs. Winters (Elizabeth) were daughters of one of the Jones families.
