Users are torn between a diverse array of appealing iPhone 15 colors. A Barbie pink version has won the hearts of followers on Twitter.

The iPhone 15 is expected to get rid of the Lightning port in favor of an iphone 15 USB-C standard. The change is a consequence of the changing EU regulations on charging.

Launching Date

According to a recent article by Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, Apple is planning to unveil the iPhone 15 on either September 13 or 12 and unveil it next week. It’s consistent with the previous iPhone release dates and also the standard timeframe for when new iPhones are released.

There are a few major changes to be expected, including a fresh colors and better camera systems for Pro models. There are rumors that suggest the ‘Pro Max’ model may get a periscopic camera that can provide six times the zoom.

The Pro models are also likely to maintain that 120-Hz refresh speed that came in the iPhone 13 Pro. Moreover, the ‘Pro Max’ model could have a single physical button with tactile feedback that can perform multiple functions like muting, accessibility options, flashlight activation, concentration mode, and opening an app. It will also work as a power switch, which will enable fast charging. Note that the iPhone 15 will no longer have support for its Lightning connector. Instead, it will be replaced instead with an USB-C connectivity.

Technology Update

There are a few significant tech upgrades that are expected in the iPhone 15. Based on rumors, the Pro or Max/Ultra model are expected to move to Lightning on USB-C to the standard ports. This change is reportedly necessary in order to conform with EU law, but Apple may be also looking to reduce component costs.

Also, a rumor mill suggests that all iPhone 15 models will retain the 120 Hz refresh speed. Apple is said to be tweaking the display driver chip in order to be more efficient with energy, which should result in increased battery lifespan.

In terms of other changes the leaked CAD picture implies that the mute switch might be replaced with one multi-use Action button similar to that of the Apple Watch Ultra. The button can be programmed and may perform multiple actions, including activating accessibility features, changing the audio mode, opening the camera application and activating the flashlight as well as activating the concentration mode or running shortcuts. It’s possible the phone will also come with a lens which can provide up to six times optical zoom.

Price

If you’re trying for a bargain and are willing to delay until after it’s official that the iPhone 15 series is launched on September 1, you may find an old model from a retail or service provider. Apple usually pulls the plug on older models once it’s announced new models which is why you may find some decent value.

However this year, you’re likely to spend more money on a Pro or Max model this year. According to reports they’ll have an upgraded chip, better cameras (including the upgraded telephoto camera for the Pro Max), and titanium designs with the appearance of frosted glass.

Additionally What’s more, a Barclays analyst says that the smartphones could cost as much as $100 to $200 more costly than the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max respectively. Based on data he’s obtained from companies that supply chain from Asia. If this turns out to be accurate, it could be devastating to Apple’s revenue.
